6. Who We Share Your Data With

  • Lenders on our panel, for the purpose of assessing and processing your finance application.
  • Credit reference agencies, where required by lenders.
  • Legal and professional advisers, where necessary.
  • Regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Where we transfer your data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations. As a general guide:

  • Active client data: retained for the duration of our relationship.
  • Completed transaction records: retained for 6 years following completion.
  • Enquiries that did not proceed: retained for 12 months.

After the relevant retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

We do not currently use automated decision-making or profiling in our broking process; where this changes, we will inform you and explain the logic involved, the significance, and the likely consequences.
  • Right to withdraw from marketing: you can ask us to stop using your data for marketing purposes, or unsubscribe from marketing communications, at any time.
